Japanese Grill Tastes as Good as it Looks

Food isn’t usually pictured as art, but at Yoshi’s Japanese Grill, the food is a work of art. Not only is the presentation beautiful, the taste is equally as great.

The locally owned fast food restaurant is located is at 121 E. 12300 S. in Draper. There is also a second location in Murray.

When you first walk into Yoshi’s, there is a hall, going towards the front counter. The menu is a photo of each item is posted upon the wall. The menu consists of a variety of sushi along with rice bowls, salads, and sides such as egg rolls and rice.

Each photo is detailed and you can see clearly what the food item includes alongside with a written description. When you receive your food, it looks just like it does on the menu.

The chef sushi rolls were delectable. Each bite was crunchy and mouth-watering. There was a burst of exotic flavor inside my mouth when I took my first bite from the Godzilla roll. The roll has vibrant colors due to the special sauce. The sushi sauce was spicy. Inside the roll, there were avocado, tempura shrimp, and cream cheese. I was extremely satisfied with each roll.

I also tried the teriyaki chicken bowl. It was appetizing and wasn’t too small. There wasn’t too much sauce over the rice. The rice was nice and steamed. The chicken was tender with each bite. The whole meal was great and I enjoyed it.

All the food was served fresh and hot. There weren’t any heat lamps keeping the food hot. Everything was prepared right there.

Not only is the food beautiful and delicious, it is reasonably priced. Sushi ranged from $2.99 to $4.99, rice bowls ranged from $4.59 to $6.99, salads were $5.99, and sides were around $1.99.

The restaurant was very clean, and employees were ready to clean up as soon as a customer was finished. The employees were also friendly. Each one was there to help. They were also very polite.

Yoshi’s also provides catering. Their website (www.japanesegrill.com), states “there is no party too big or small.” They can provide sushi platters, salads, and bowls. If there are any other questions, you are able to contact them with the information from their website.

If you want great Japanese, with reasonable prices, Yoshi’s Japanese Grill is the best place to go. The food is fabulous and doesn’t taste at all like a fast food restaurant.
