Dear Editor,
I was impressed to see an article about pranks in the opinion section. I believe it is often an overlooked topic because our peers consider the majority of their pranks harmless or insignificant, just like the teens discussed in the newspaper seem to think. This article is a good reminder to us all that our thoughtless actions have the potential to have dramatic consequences and hinder opportunities for us as we progress in society. Great work!

Dear Editor,
I was thoroughly impressed with the December issue. I especially enjoyed the Bathroom Mayhem article about the careless treatment of the bathrooms by students. I too am disgusted with the stall graffiti, gum on the floor, make up on the mirrors, etc. Students, and people in general, often fail to realize how their poor actions affect those around them. It was great to see that you included the perspective of the janitors, whose hard work often goes unnoticed. “The Silver Scribe” is a great paper and I look forward to every new issue. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,

Dear Editor,
While I was reading the December issue of the Silver Scribe I stumbled over the Bathroom Mayhem piece published in the opinions column. Personally, I am glad that this particular matter has been brought to the attention of the student body.
Although the student body of Riverton High is full of school spirit and support for all the activities, I also believe that they can be severely disrespectful in some aspects such as this. It is almost too often overlooked by the public how unsanitary public restrooms can be, but even more so, how the very same people who are disgusted make conditions worse than they have to be. I am very glad to see mention of the problem so that action can be taken in order to resolve the issue.
Sincerely,
Hannah Johnson, junior
