Welcome

Welcome to the 2010-2011 Course Description Website. Below is a list of credits that are required to complete (from grade 9-12) in order to graduate from Riverton High School. Students must complete the requirements and have a total of 27 credits to graduate on the A-B Block, quarterly schedule.

Science (BS, ES, PS, CS) 3.0 credits 2.0 from the 4 Core science areas: earth, biological, chemistry, physics

Health (HL) 0.5 credit  
P.E. (HL) 1.5 credits

Grade 9: PST
Grade 10: Lifetime Fitness
0.5 other p.e.

Fine Arts (A) 1.5 credits  
Career & Technical Educ (CTE) 1.0 credit  
Computer Technology (CT) 0.5 credit  
Financial Literacy (F) 0.5 credit To be taken during 11th or 12th grade
Electives 8 credits Once each the above credits are fulfilled, all other courses will count toward elective credit
Total 27.0 credits  

 

9th grade - 6.0 credits, 10th grade - 7.0 credits, 11th grade - 7.0 credits, 12th grade - 7 credits = 27 Total Credits
*If a full-time student enrolls in seminary each of the 4 years in high school, the student must pass and complete each quarter of credit to be on-line to graduate.
