PSAT (NMSQT - Nat'l Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 - 8:00 AM in the Tech Atrium (11th graders only).

The PSAT is the prequel or practice exam equivalent of the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test).  The SAT is also required by many colleges for admissions and/or course placement.  Any student considering post-secondary education should plan to take this exam.

Students may be qualify for scholarship funding through high achievement on the exam.

PLAN  TEST

Thursday, November 6th, 2008, - 7:30 AM in the Tech Atrium (10th graders only).

The Plan Exam is the prequel or practice exam equivalent of the ACT (American College Test).  The ACT is required by most colleges either for admissions and/or course placement.  Any student considering post-secondary education should plan to take the exam.  Registration is limited to the first 200 students that sign up through the main office.  Registration will begin October 13th, 2008, in the Main Office.  Remember to keep your receipt for entrance into the testing area.
