Purpose

The purposes of the Riverton High School Skills USA club are to unite full time students enrolled in CTE classes with vocational and industrial objectives. It provides leadership for local clubs, provides a clearinghouse or central place for cataloging of information, develops leadership abilities through participation in educational, vocational, civic, recreational and social activities.

Meetings

Meetings are two to four times per month for leadership training, activities, service, and competition preparation.

Activities

Club activities include job success training, project and skills management and qualities, and leadership opportunities.

Membership

Membership includes any students enrolled in CTE, and trade and industry classes.

Officers

Officers include a president and others elected at state training at the beginning of the school year.
