Spanish Club
or Los Lobitos Loquitos (The Crazy Little Wolves)

Purpose

The purpose of the Riverton High School Spanish Club is to provide a greater understanding and appreciation for the Spanish language and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

Meetings

The Spanish Club will meet once each quarter.

Activities

Club activities include dances, cooking demonstrations, language games, sports, and watching appropriate Spanish-speaking films.

Membership

 

Officers

Officers shall be chosen from students taking Spanish 4 and AP Classes.

The president oversees and coordinates preparations for all activities and any other matters that arise.

The president-elect works under the president and will be the following year's president or in the event that the president cannot carry out their duties for the current year, will assume those responsibilities during the current school year.

The secretary keeps minutes of meetings and distributes reminders to club officers and members as needed.

The treasurer collects, keeps and maintains an accounting of and disburse funds

The activities director organizes and oversees the advertisement and execution of club activities.

Funds

It is anticipated that each club member shall pay dues annually in the amount of $5.00. Members shall be allowed to bring a friend to activities and the fee for attending without membership shall be $3.00 per activity attended. Dues shall be used to purchase refreshments, decorations and other incidental expenses. All monies shall be run through the main office.
