Science Club

Purpose

The purpose of the Riverton High School Science Club is to introduce students to the fun and the excitement that is science. Science club also feeds the passions of the students in the ways of science.

Meetings

The Science Club will meet once a week on Tuesdays.

Activities

Club activities include performing science demonstrations at elementary schools, judging science fairs at elementary and middle schools, and lear material for science olympiad competition.

Membership

 

Officers

The President is in charge of the overall well being of the science club.

The Vice President assists the president in the over all well being of the science club.

The secretary keeps a written record of events and events to come.

The historian keeps a record of club activities.

The social chair is in charge of club recruitment and club social activities.

The official demonstrator contacts elementary schools and junior high schools to set up demonstrations for the club members.

Funds

There will be a participation fee of $10.00 that will go towards club activities and Science Olympiad. Other costs may include club T-shirts, etc.
