Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Club

 

Faculty Advisor

Purpose

To promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through --

  • Character development
  • Creative and critical thinking
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Practical knowledge
  • Vocational preparation

Meetings

The FCCLA club meetings are held at least once a month after school. Officers will meet weekly.

Activities

Many fun and exciting activities are planned throughout the year. Activities are usually confined to the Family and Consumer Science Department.

Membership

Active members shall be Riverton High School students who are taking or have taken family and consumer sciences courses.

Officers

The ten officers of the FCCLA club are president, vice-president, secretary, historian, etc.

Funds

Dues of $20 are payable in the RHS main office, and includes a Club T-Shirt.
