Riverton High School DECA Chapter (Club)
Faculty Advisor
Purpose
The purpose of this club is to assist the state associations of DECA in their own growth and development; to further develop education in marketing, management and entrepreneurship which will contribute to occupational competence; and to promote understanding of and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship in our free enterprise system.
Meetings
The DECA club will meet at least once each month during the school year.
Activities
- Have students make presentations to local business people about DECA.
- Incorporate DECA entrepreneurship events to make entrepreneurship lessons real.
- When teaching promotion, have students write news articles about the clubs activities for the local newspapers.
Membership
Active members shall be Riverton High School students taking marketing classes.

Funds
The DECA Chapter will be responsible for state and DECA Inc. dues. The DECA chapter advisor will be responsible for the DECA chapter finances and will furnish an annual audit to the Site DECA advisor.
