Riverton Bowling Club Faculty Advisor Rhonda Spivey
Purpose The purpose of the Bowling Club is to teach students a life-long sport they can play at any age. The Bowling Club will teach students how scoring works, practice with trained coaches and they will have the opportunity to bowl against other high schools in the state.
Meetings The Bowling Club meets after school on Mondays, and at Junction Lanes at 4:30.
Activities The Bowling Club will practice bowling each week, and will compete against other high school bowling clubs as scheduled.
Membership The Bowling Club members must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA. Members may not participate without a parent permission form. Officers The Bowling Club president maintains order within the club and also plans and discusses activities with the advisor. The Vice president will help with all presidential duties and take the place of the president when he/she is unable to attend to their duties. The secretary will handle all needs of the president or vice president. He/she will also be in charge of collecting all fees from the students when they are required. Funds All funds relating to the Bowling Club will be handled in accordance to district policies. A small fee of $5.00 will be needed from club members when they meet at Junction Lanes. The $5.00 will provide for the cost of bowling and shoe rental. The bowling team through the club will require the students to do a fund-raiser which will pay for uniforms and practice hours. Students will be required to provide their own black or khaki dress pants for competition matches. |
